Future Gymnast??

I've had Gibson in a little community class of gymnastics this past month and it may be safe to say, he's not a gymnast! He did great during the class. That is if you look at the way he pretended the mats were an ocean of sharks and he had to keep from being eaten or the way he ran from station to station while the other kids followed in a straight line behind their teacher.

It may be because his little group was all boys which meant there was someone for him to body slam onto the mat or maybe his attention span isn't that long and waiting for his turn was just too long.

I asked him if he'd rather do gymnastics or swimming and he chose swimming so I think we'll stick with that. He's doing awesome in his lessons and becoming our little fish!  Soccer starts in a few months so we'll see how that one goes. He's a boy on the move and is loving that he's finally old enough to participate in things instead of having to sit on the sidelines!

We had a similar experience with gymnastics, only lots of twirling and flitting around, fairy style, instead of listening to the coach. Swimming and soccer at the local Y are so much cheaper, she can flit to her heart's content!
I'm glad Gibson is enjoying swim class. In my 6 months of having a son I've come to the realization that boys are quite different than girls. Boys like action, it seems. And you have THREE! I don't know how you keep up. Keep up the good work!

Good job Gibson. It's been so fun to be here to play. Katie is going to have a hard time parting with her "very best cousin".

Sydney! You are so blessed to have an easy baby! He definitely looks like he belongs to the Condie clan too. =) So cute! Thanks for sending me another invitation. =)
