The BIG 29!

Well I am officially 364 days from being 30! Wow, where did the time go? I really can't believe that I turned 29 yesterday, it seems like last month I was in high school turning 16 and last week I was turning 21. Now, I'm officially one year away from being old! (Isn't that what I always thought as a child that 30 was old)?

Hubby arranged what would have been a surprise BBQ for me (he can't keep secrets so he told me). We got together with some friends and had some good food, yummy cake (Hubby ordered it from Wal-mart without me knowing), and enjoyed the evening.

My yummy chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. hubby chose the beach motif since he knows the beach is my favorite vacation spot.

He couldn't serve the cake fast enough. The kids were so excited.




Our very tired boy E. He wouldn't fall asleep since there was so much going on but he was SO tired. Look at those red eyes. He was such a trooper.


Our VERY dirty boy G. The party was held at our friends house out in the country. So there were cows, dirt hills, 4-wheelers, holes in the dirt, dirt and more dirt. G had a great time and was completely covered in dirt. I don't think I have ever seen him more dirty and I don't think I'm going to attempt to bleach his white socks- they are going in the trash! Then we added cake and ice cream to the dirt and he was one sticky boy. He had a great time!

Thank you honey for making my day so special. You're the best husband! I love you to pieces.

USAF ACADEMY GRADUATES 2006

For those of you who have always wanted to see a graduation at the USAF Academy, this one is for you.

Silver Course Hole #1

HOLE #1 on the Silver Course at the Academy. This is where my golf game improved 100%. Every Tuesday, we (Joe, Mike, Aaron, and I) spent from 5pm to 9pm playing golf. The next picture is of the Thunderbirds doing a fly-over at graduation.

DAY 2 OF MEDICAL READINESS FIELD TRAINING

ON THE SECOND DAY OF MRFT TRAINING I GOT A TASTE OF WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TRYING TO WORK WITH CHEMICAL WARFARE GEAR ON. IT WAS SO HOT! AND WE WERE WEARING THE GEAR AT AROUND 9PM TO 11PM AT NIGHT. I CAN'T IMAGINE HAVING TO WEAR IT IN IRAQ. IT GIVES A WHOLE NEW MEANING TO NEED TO "HYDRATE!" TSgT HEATHER BOND AND I WERE THE ONLY ONES TOGETHER FROM DENTAL FOR THE SECOND PORTION OF THE TRAINING.

BLACKHAWK SHADOW

THE BLACKHAWK SHADOW WAS TAKEN AS WE WERE FLYING THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS JUST PASS BOISE. MOST OF MY TEAM IS FROM THE DENTAL CLINIC. WE HAVE: SRA SCOTT, TSGT MARSHALL, TSGT FLUGAL, MAJOR THOMPSON, AND ME CAPTAIN CONDIE :)

Blackhawk

During the month of June, I had Medical Readiness Field Training (MRFT)and my team took a ride in a BLACKHAWK helicopter. We flew at 150mph at 15 or so feet off the ground and then climbed into the mountains with ease. It was wicked!!
